Our carpet storage racks are designed to safely store and organize rolled carpet while maximizing floor space. Available in stackable and portable configurations, these customizable systems improve inventory access and warehouse efficiency.
Carpet pad occupies a lot of space when floor stacked on pallets. At the most you can stack the rolls into an unstable pyramid. A Tier-Rack® pad rack allows the pad rolls to be stacked in a dense bundle. The uprights on a modular rack hold your pad rolls in place without using shrink wrap. This allows you to store about three times as many rolls per pallet position. Stack the pad storage racks 3 to 4 bins high giving the appearance of standard pallet shelving This opens up a large amount of valuable floor space for other uses.
The portable foam racks also provide security for each pad roll as the roll storage rack is being moved about your location. It is often faster and easier for a forklift truck to pick up a loaded foam rack than a pallet of loose pad rolls. The rolls are also held securely as the rack is moved, which
means you are less likely to have a pad roll fall off the load. In some applications the roll storage racks can be waiting at the receiving dock for a truckload of loose pad rolls, loaded with carpet pad rolls and moved into the warehouse to be stacked.
