As an optional add-on to our engineering process for new Tier-Rack stack rack projects, we offer Professional Engineering (PE) stamping to help you meet permitting and approval requirements in your project location.

State Specific PE Stamps For Your Project

PE stamps must be issued by a Professional Engineer licensed in the state where the project is located. Tier-Rack coordinates state-specific PE stamping for your new stack rack order. For projects spanning multiple states, separate stamps can be arranged for each state as needed.

When a PE Stamp May Be Required

Depending on your project and local requirements, a PE stamp may be requested by:

• Local building departments or other authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs)
• Rack height and configuration
• Seismic zone and site conditions
• Intended load capacity and floor conditions
• Insurance carriers or permitting processes

Streamlined Approvals and Licensed Engineer-Reviewed Designs

Our engineering team works with licensed engineers to review your new Tier-Rack stack rack design and, when required, provide PE-stamped drawings and supporting documentation aligned with local codes and submission standards. We guide you from initial design through to the stamped submittals to help keep your project moving.
